Charlotte Gnassouwa, born on June 3, 2006 in Koka (Niamtougou), is a Togolese national. She grew up with a passion for art. In her community of Koka, she attended school and learned painting, both theory and practice. She was inspired by her teacher, who was qualified and recognized by local schools.
As she grew up, Ms. Charlotte continued to explore other artistic fields by participating in theater. She began performing in theater productions at the university club and in the American Corner at Kara University, which was held in English. The program focused on various themes proposed by members and staff of American Corner.
Ms. Charlotte is committed to spreading and increasing access to the arts worldwide. She firmly believes in the transformation of artistic expression and hopes that these Welou students will develop an interest in, and develop their imagination and hobbies for, the creative arts over time.
