Welcome to the Couleurs de Togo Program!
We are a youth-based arts & crafts program in the village of Welou, Togo. Founded by Returned Peace Corps Togo Volunteer Will Mahan (2023 - 2025), we are working to increase access to the arts to students at the CEG Welou Middle School.Â
The Couleurs de Togo program is currently managed by Charlotte Gnassouwa, a student-artist at the University of Kara, who firmly believes in the transformative impact of bringing access to arts & crafts activities to children of all ages, all across the country of Togo.
While the Couleurs de Togo Program is based in Welou, we invite any and all nearby students to come and visit our program at the CEG Welou Middle School. At the Couleurs de Togo Program, we firmly believe that introducing young children to the arts can have a transformational impact on them throughout the course of their lives. We pride ourselves in centering our student-artists in all of our work and we hope that you will follow along with our students' work, which is featured every week on our Facebook and Instagram Social Media Pages (linked below). Thank you and we hope that you join us in this journey!
